TOUR SCHEDULE
Our guide/driver will meet you at a pre-agreed spot by your AirBnB/Hotel, with a modern luxurious vehicle to start the tour. You will be visiting the archaeological site of Akrotiri, one of the most significant prehistoric findings also know as the greek Pompey (paid admission at the entrance). A quick stop at the red beach for photos will follow. Later on you will head all the way up to the highest point of the island, the Prophet Elias monastery (open until 15:00-closed on Sundays) to admire the island from above.You will be able to shop local goods from the monastery shop such as Olive oil, caper leaves,honey. The last stop will be the famous for the blue domes Oia town at the north end of the island. Scenic island views and terrain shifting along the way from one point to the other becomes an experience on its own as well as the the chance to see the vineyards up close, meanwhile you will be briefed about the island in detail.
